AT&T Disconnects Indian Outsourcing
Jobs are coming back to the USA....
AT&T ie expected to bring back 2000 broadband customer service jobs.
"Given that millions of service jobs have permanently left the U.S. for India, AT&T's decision is only a tactical, not a strategic, victory for U.S. workers.
Even so, however, it demonstrates that offshore outsourcing is not inevitable and that, pace today's conventional wisdom, jobs once offshored can be brought back to the U.S."
A large number to companies will still offshore unitl as expected benefits are still obtained,
